Every FVG indicator shows you the same thing: every three-candle gap on the chart. On a 1-minute NQ session, that's dozens of zones competing for your attention. Some hold beautifully. Most fill immediately and offer nothing. If Fair Value Gaps are part of your trading model, the question isn't where they are. It's which ones actually matter.

The difference between an FVG that holds and one that doesn't? Whether the displacement was backed by real institutional participation. A gap created by genuine aggressive flow behaves differently than one created by a thin market drifting through a price level. Every trader draws FVGs. Refine shows you which ones are worth trading.

Institutional displacement validation

Not every FVG represents real displacement. Refine runs each gap through a proprietary volume analysis that accounts for session context, time of day, and historical participation patterns. Only gaps where the displacement candle shows confirmed institutional activity reach your chart.

Consequent Encroachment line

The 50% midpoint of each FVG is drawn automatically as a dashed CE line. Price reacts at this level more often than at the gap boundaries. If CE is part of your entry model, it's already on the chart. No manual measurement needed.

Three-tier conviction glow

Every validated FVG is classified into Normal, High, or Extreme conviction tiers based on the strength of institutional participation. Higher tiers glow brighter on the chart, so you can instantly distinguish the 10x displacement from the 2x. The most important zones demand your attention without you reading a single number.

Displacement candle Point of Control

No other FVG indicator shows you this. Refine profiles the displacement candle at the tick level and marks the exact price where the heaviest institutional execution occurred. This isn't a geometric midpoint. It's the price where real size transacted. A gold line marks this level, giving you an order-flow-derived anchor inside the gap that price action alone can never reveal. When price returns to the gap, the POC is often where the strongest reaction occurs.

Inversion Fair Value Gap tracking

When price mitigates a Refined FVG, the zone doesn't just disappear. It inverts. A bullish gap that gets broken becomes bearish resistance. A bearish gap that fails becomes bullish support. Refine automatically marks these inversions as iFVGs so you can trade the flip without manually tracking which gaps have been invalidated. Configure close-through or pierce-through fill logic to match your entry model.

Market presets

Built-in optimized thresholds for ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, CL, and GC. The instruments most prop firm and retail futures traders are watching, micros included. Select your market and the volume validation engine is calibrated from day one. A Custom preset opens every threshold for manual tuning if you trade something else.

Data	Level 1 data feed. Rithmic, CQG, Kinetick, etc. No Tick Replay required — live POC is computed from the real-time tick stream, and cached zones preserve it across restarts. Historical zones loaded without a cache anchor the POC at the zone midpoint.
